Hi! I am working at Apple as a Camera Algorithms Engineer. I graduated from Purdue University with a PhD. For my PhD research, I worked with Prof. Charles A. Bouman to develop novel and efficient solutions to produce noise-free, sharper and clinically acceptable reconstructions of medical CT (X-ray computed tomography). I also collaborated with GE HealthCare to develop a reconstruction algorithm for a radically new technology, photon counting CT.

Produces uniform texture with more detail while denoising & sharpening CT images. Alleviates the risk of hallucination!

Noise Preserving Sharpening Filter (NPSF)

Preserves texture while sharpening by adding noise while training. Evaluated clinically!
